Do you think itβs a good idea to have a outdoor Table Tennis table on the green? π ... See MoreSee Less
I voted for a bad idea but not because I don’t like table tennis π€·πΌβοΈ I honestly am not sure how long it would even last tbh until it just gets ruined.
To reassure people, these are metal tables that are fixed in place rather than the wooden ones you might have wheeled out in school. Local schools have them and they’re still in one piece!
If the parish council have in the past been up in arms about the wearing away of the grass by the goalposts what will they think of two bare patches either end of the table tennis table?
Are you under the pretence that if the kids play ping-pong then they’ll be less likely to be as anti-social…? π€π
Following on from the planning application submission by developers for site BL1, the Parish Council would like to create a working group as a forum to gather support and evidence in opposing the planning application.
We are looking for representation from people in the community who may have a strong view on the proposals and have experience or expertise in areas of highways, planning, environmental areas etc. π³
Expressions of interests will be accepted by contacting the Parish Council Clerk (details below) and all expressions of interest will be reviewed by the Parish Council as there will be a ceiling on working group representation.
βΌοΈExpressions of interest will need to be submitted by close this Friday as work needs to begin straight away. Thank you.

I have no expertise but the occurrences of flooding in Dickens Heath in recent years could be a consideration.
